There must be something very interesting in this fallen tree because every time we pass it, no matter the season, Jam stops to investigate.  This week, covered in snow, it was great for snacking on the snow!

New Snow - time for another snow hike!

Jam and Savi had blast on our most recent snow hike after we received a fresh 4 inches of snow last Friday.  Running in the snow on the hills is great conditioning for the dogs and us!

Winter Wonderland Hike - Harriman State Park

 Jam had a blast on our winter hike and couldn't contain her enthusiasm. A fun morning exploring our favorite trail with a fresh layer of fluffy snow.

Neither snow nor rain...Jam still works

 Last night's snowstorm wasn't enough to deter us from accepting a last minute call for Jam to put on her modeling hat in NYC today.  The plow arrived to dig us out just as her agent called and we were off into the city, where she wowed the photographer doing everything asked, from jumping up in the air to hitting her marks, for a European Purina project.  Unfortunately, we will not see the finished product here.

Jam's favorite parts of the trip were the steak treats, only the best rewards for her and pointing pigeons on the street!  A surprise chance to practice her "whoa" training!

Friday frolick in the new snow

The first Friday of the new year brought another storm, adding 6 inches of fluffy snow on top of the 24 inches we received during the December blizzard!  The dogs thought the snow was great fun and had a blast playing in the yard, a true winter wonderland.  More pics on Trixie's blog.
